The design examples, all in one place.
Everything built so far while deciding what makez.ca should be. The real site draft is the rest of this domain — Home, Decks, Garages, Gallery, Process, Living with it, About, Contact — and it can wear any of the eight looks from the switch in the footer.
The first sample: a complete site whose look switches between eight directions (Cedar & Stone, Heritage, Sunroom, Editorial, Prairie Modern, Workshop, Estate, Charcoal). The corner switch changes everything.
Concept 1Makez Deck BuilderThe homepage is a live deck visualizer: shape, size, material, boards, railing, ramps, drainage, canopy — with a price range and a send-to-Makez button. Now built into the real site’s Decks page.
Concept 2Makez Day JobEvaristo’s line at poster size, his eight rules for a deck, three named decks, straight answers. The one with the most personality.
Concept 3Ask EvaristoSix kitchen-table questions, then a drawn deck, the reasons for it, a range and a booking. A consultation instead of a brochure.
The design system itself (colours, type, building blocks, the brand book) lives in the Claude artifact “Makez” and can be shared from there.
